Return & Exchange Policy
At Balisong Butterfly, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase. Because our knives are specialty items, we handle returns and exchanges carefully to ensure fairness, quality control, and customer safety. Please read the policy below before placing your order.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only for knives that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
To qualify for a return:
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- The knife must be unused and in its original condition
- All packaging and accessories must be included
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind
- Ordering the wrong item
- Used, damaged, or altered knives
Exchanges
Exchanges are available only if the product you receive is defective or incorrect.
If eligible, we will replace the item as soon as the defective product is returned and inspected.
Engraved or customized knives are not eligible for exchanges unless the error was on our part.
Non-Returnable Items
To ensure safety and product integrity, the following cannot be returned:
- Engraved knives or custom-logo orders
- Used knives
- Knives with signs of wear, damage, or improper handling
- Final sale or clearance items
Engraved knives are permanently customized and cannot be resold, which is why all engraving orders are final.
If Your Order Arrives Damaged
If your knife arrives damaged or defective:
- Take clear photos or a short video of the issue
- Email us within 48 hours at:

- Our support team will review the issue and arrange a replacement if approved
We will repair or replace the product depending on the situation.
Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for shipping the item back to us for inspection.
- If your return is approved (defective or incorrect item), we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement back to you.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
Returns caused by an incorrect shipping address or failed delivery attempts are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
Please double-check your address at checkout.
Refunds
If a return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method after inspection.
Please allow 3–7 business days for processing.
Refunds are not available for:
- Engraved/custom knives
- Used knives
- Disliked color variations or handle patterns
- Delayed or lost shipments caused by the carrier
