At Balisong Butterfly, we work hard to make your ordering and shipping experience simple, clear, and worry-free. Every knife is inspected, prepared, and packaged with care to ensure you receive a high-quality product in perfect condition. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how orders are processed and shipped.
How Ordering Works
1. Place Your Order Online
Browse our collection and add any balisong or accessory to your cart. Once you’re ready, proceed to checkout and complete your order.
2. Order Confirmation
After checkout, you will receive an email confirmation with your order number and details.
If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder or contact us.
3. Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
Custom engraving orders may require additional production time.
If the knife you ordered is not in stock, it will take approximately 2–3 weeks for us to handcraft and ship your knife.
4. Quality Inspection
Before shipping, every knife is tested for proper function, alignment, pivot action, and blade condition to ensure it meets our standards.
Shipping Information
Shipping Times
Shipping time depends on your location and the carrier chosen during checkout. Most orders deliver within:
- USA: 4–8 business days
- International: 8–14 business days (may vary based on customs)
These are estimates and not guaranteed delivery times.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear depending on the carrier.
International Shipping & Customs
We ship worldwide, but please note:
- Import taxes, VAT, and customs fees vary by country.
- Customers are responsible for any additional charges applied by their local customs office.
- We cannot control or speed up customs processing.
International customers should ensure butterfly knives are legal in their country before ordering.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked Delivered by the carrier, it is considered delivered and no longer the responsibility of Balisong Butterfly.
If your package is delayed or missing:
- Contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number
- Check with neighbors, security offices, or local post offices
- Reach out to us for guidance if needed
We will assist when possible, but replacements for lost or stolen packages are not guaranteed.
Pre-Orders & Backorders
If an item is listed as a pre-order or backorder:
- Your knife is reserved exclusively for you
- We will provide estimated ship dates in the product description
- You will receive updates as your order progresses
Pre-orders may ship separately from other items.
Engraving Orders
Engraving adds 1–3 extra business days to processing time.
Logo engraving requires you to email your artwork and order number to:

Shipping Damage
If your knife arrives damaged:
- Take clear photos of the damage
- Email us within 48 hours at sales@balisongbutterfly.com
- Include your order number and a description of the issue
We will replace or repair the item depending on the situation.
