Hand-forged balisong butterfly knives, the way Batangas taught us.

I have the original butterfly balisong 410 carbon steel but with a glossy blade, bought over 10 years ago. Excellent knife extremely convenient one hand opening/closing for mushrooms hunting, the robustness of the entire high quality steel construction, the razor sharp strong blade and the length of the blade make this the best pocket knife ever. Or if you just want to open your mail with it you won't find a better tool because of its sharp tip and slender long blade (i am serious). But you have to respect the blade, it is extremely sharp and stays sharp forever unlike big store knives. I injured ;y other hand with the blade a few time, one time badly but never in a way that it didn't heal. It won't happen again i have learned to respect this knife like a person. Never ever pull the blade towards the other hand that you're holding something with, always push the blade away from your other hand. There will be situations when you are holding an item and need to cut something attached on it and will want to pull the blade towards you because you have a better grip of the object. Never do it, always remember to pull the blade away from your other hand.

It's okay. Not great not bad. Handle scales feel a bit plasticky for the price. Wouldn't say no to it but wouldn't rave about it either.

Wasn't expecting to be this impressed but here we are. Would send this as a gift again in a heartbeat.

Can't stop flipping this thing honestly. Pivots feel dialed in with zero blade play. Weight is perfectly balanced for flipping. Latch snaps shut clean every time. Shipping was fast and everything arrived well packaged.
