What makes these limited
Two things. The handle material, and the blade profile.
Stag horn and polished black horn are both natural materials cut from stock that varies piece to piece — when a particular section of antler or horn runs out, the knives made from it cannot be made again. Colour, ridging and figure differ from one knife to the next, which is why these are photographed individually rather than as a range.
Blade profiles here include dagger, shark and tanto grinds. The shark profile in particular carries a stepped, finned spine that takes considerably longer to grind than a conventional blade, which is a large part of why these are made in small numbers.
Specification
Weights run 7.0 oz to 7.8 oz, open lengths 9.4 in to 11.4 in — the full traditional Batangas proportion. Construction is hand-fitted sandwich build throughout, with a traditional latch.
Worth knowing before you order
Because the handle materials are natural and the runs are small, the knife you receive will not be a photographic match for the listing image. Grain, tone and figure vary. If you want an exact repeat of a specific piece, this is the wrong collection — try 440C or VG10, where the builds are more consistent.

What actually makes these limited edition?
Materials and grind time, not marketing. Stag and black horn are cut from natural stock that varies piece to piece — when a section runs out, those knives cannot be repeated. And profiles like the stepped shark grind take considerably longer at the wheel than a conventional blade, which caps how many get made.
Will my knife look exactly like the listing photo?
No — natural horn varies in colour, ridging and figure from one panel to the next, and the runs are too small to photograph every individual knife. Yours will match the listed pattern, steel and dimensions, with its own grain. If you want an exact photographic match, the 440C and VG10 ranges are more consistent.
Are limited pieces restocked?
Runs are not repeated once the material for them is gone — that is what limited means here. Individual knives may come back into stock while a run lasts, but when a listing disappears from this collection it is usually permanent.
