A mark that belongs to one knife

Engraving is cut into the metal of the knife, on the bolster, where it sits alongside the handle material rather than on the blade face. It is permanent. That is the point of it, and it is also why an engraved knife cannot be resold, which is why every engraving order is final.

People use it for initials, a date, a symbol that means something, or a company logo on a corporate order. Every balisong in the collection can be engraved, sharp or trainer, because the mark is cut into the bolster rather than the edge. If you want the whole knife made to your specification rather than an engraving on an existing model, build your own custom balisong and add the engraving as one of the steps.

How it works

Choose the knife Any balisong in the collection. Live blade or trainer.
Select the option The engraving option sits on the product page, just above Add to Cart. Choose text engraving or logo engraving before the knife goes into your cart.
Text and initials Initials, a name or a short line of text is a flat $19, and you choose the engraving font on the product page.
Logo engraving Logo engraving is a flat $29. Choose it on the product page, then upload your logo file at checkout. As soon as the file reaches us we cut it and the knife goes into production.
Artwork Logos need to be clear and high resolution to cut cleanly.
Production time Engraving adds 1 to 3 business days to production time.
Returns Engraved and custom logo knives are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Cut by hand, on a knife already finished

The engraving happens after the knife has been through inspection, pivot testing, alignment and finish control. It is the last thing done to it before it is packed with its fitted leather sheath. If the knife you want is out of stock, it is handcrafted to order in 2 to 3 weeks, and the engraving time sits on top of that.
