Limited Edition Balisongs
10 limited edition balisong butterfly knives, $137.50 to $192.50. These are short runs. Damascus blades in the Visayan and Traditional series, stag horn and brass handles, patterns and material combinations that will not be repeated once the batch is gone.
"Limited" here means what it says. A run is limited by the material, not by a marketing decision: a particular Damascus billet makes so many blades, a particular piece of stag horn makes so many handle pairs, and when it is used up the knife stops existing.
Buying to Collect
If you are collecting rather than carrying, two things matter more than steel. First, condition: an unused knife with its original sheath holds value that a flipped one does not. Second, documentation of what the run actually was. Every knife on this shelf is a Filipino handmade balisong in the Batangas tradition, and the blade and handle combination is recorded on its product page.

Common Questions
What makes these balisongs limited edition? Short runs bounded by material: a single Damascus billet or a particular batch of stag horn. When the material is used, the run ends. They are not re-made.
Do limited edition butterfly knives hold their value? Handmade knives in unrepeatable materials tend to hold value better than production knives, particularly unused and with the original sheath. Nobody can promise appreciation, and we will not.
Can I still flip a limited edition balisong? Yes, and you can order it as a free unsharpened trainer if you intend to. Flipping will mark the handles, which matters if you are collecting.
Will you make more of a knife once it sells out? No. The material is what limits the run, so a sold-out knife is genuinely finished. New limited runs appear as new material comes in.
Are limited edition knives more expensive? Not necessarily. This shelf runs $137.50 to $192.50. Below several of our standard Damascus knives. Rarity here comes from the material batch, not from a premium price.

Limited here means the run was small and we are not making it again, not that a marketing person picked the word. When these go, they go. Fitted leather sheath included, trainer or live blade at the same price, 58-60 HRC.
About our balisongs
The balisong began in Batangas, in the Philippines, and every knife in this collection is made in that tradition. Our knives are made by Filipino artisans and metalworkers, many from families with generations of experience, now working in the United States.
Blades are ground in 440C stainless, D2 tool steel, VG10, high carbon and Damascus steel. Handles are fitted in kamagong ebony, carabao horn, Philippine deer horn and bone, and every knife ships with a fitted leather sheath. Both live blades and trainers are offered.
Before a knife leaves the bench it passes a four-step quality process: detailed hand inspection, smoothness and pivot testing, blade alignment checks, and durability and finish quality control. If a knife doesn't meet our standards, it never reaches our customers.
Most orders ship in 1 to 3 business days and arrive in 4 to 8 business days across the USA, or 8 to 14 business days internationally. Out of stock knives are handcrafted to order in 2 to 3 weeks, and every order ships worldwide with tracking.
