Hand-forged in the Batangas tradition
The balisong was born in Batangas, Philippines. Every knife in this catalogue is made by Filipino artisans and metalworkers, many from families with generations of experience, now working in the United States. Blades are ground from 440C stainless, D2 tool steel, VG10, high carbon and Damascus, and fitted to handles of kamagong ebony, carabao horn, Philippine deer horn and bone.
Checked four times
Detailed hand inspection, smoothness and pivot testing, blade alignment checks, and durability and finish quality control. If a knife doesn't meet our standards, it never reaches our customers.

The BF-136 Handmade D2 Steel Balisong Knife is built for serious collectors, professional flippers and anyone who judges a knife by precision and durability. It is a double-edge balisong handcrafted from high-performance D2 tool steel, a steel chosen for its edge retention, hardness and corrosion resistance.
A contoured natural rosewood handle with solid brass bolsters balances strength against elegance and keeps control in the hand. Each knife is finished by hand for smooth flipping action, even weight distribution and long-lasting performance, and arrives with a hand-stitched genuine leather sheath for safe storage and presentation.
Double edge is not decoration. Grinding both sides makes the blade symmetrical in the air, so the knife behaves identically whichever way it comes round — which is exactly what competition flippers ask for, and why the BF-136 sits in the Prime line rather than the traditional one.
